These five products are all fantastic in their own right, and whilst they are similar in many ways, e.g. they give you a similar amount of casein protein for your body to bulk up with ease, they all have subtle differences too, e.g. flavors and nutritional amount.

Many of the products I’ve chosen come with very sweet flavors, but a few do have unflavored, plain options.

This means that if you don’t want to alter the taste of your smoothie or meal, you can use that as a go-to option.

If I had to give a clear winner, which I do, then I would edge towards the naked Nutrition NAKED CASEIN option.

Whilst the limited flavors might be an issue for some, the fact that there s an unflavored choice is a great boost, because not everyone likes a super-sweet edge to their protein powder; I much prefer a plain choice, which doesn’t alter the taste of my smoothie, as I have mentioned several times before.

This product also delivers slightly more in the way of protein, by an extra 2g, and that can be the difference between a great bulk up achievement, and a mediocre one in some cases.

Overall however, adding a casein protein powder to your day is a fantastic way to give your body extra fuel and protein to push you towards muscle mass, and the fact that it is generally slow release, means that your body is given what it needs over a longer period of time, helping you work out for longer too.
